Ordering
The ordering process begins when you decide you want me to build you a custom frame — at this point, all you need is a vague idea of what you want. You should contact me and let me know you’re interested, and that will start the ball rolling. Should you be interested, I will require a non-refundable, non-transferable $500 to add you to the waiting list (which right now, is very short) — that deposit is applied to the quoted price of your bike.
When your build date approaches, we will have a longer discussion about your current bike(s), what you’re looking for from your new bike, and I will ask you to deliver some key information, including your Fit Kit data (which can be acquired at most bike shops for a small fee), your body weight, and other things that will influence the selections I make for geometry and tubing. At this time, half of the remaining balance is due and work will commence on the actual assembly of the frame.
During the build, I will send you email updates and digital photos of the work in-progress.
Once the frame is complete, final payment is due. Upon receipt of final payment (checks must clear), the frame will be shipped to you, or your local bike shop, as determined by a conversation with you, the customer.
